The leader of Law and Justice has paid a private visit, with his niece Marta, to the tomb of Maria and Lech Kaczynski, Jaroslaw’s twin brother.

Lech and Jaroslaw Kaczynski were born on June 18, 1949. The two would be celebrating their 61st birthdays today, if not for the tragic plane crash in Smolensk over two months ago that took away the lives of the presidential couple as well as 94 others onboard the doomed flight.

After Jaroslaw’s visit to the presidential couple’s tomb in Wawel Cathedral, the last day of campaigning is to be spent with specialists in Krakow on the exploration of raw energy sources.

Later in the afternoon, the leader of Law and Justice is expected to visit the town of Olsztyn in the Masurian lake district, going on to meet with voters in his home town of Gdansk on the Baltic coast. (jb)
