A call centre system was stolen from the Law and Justice candidate’s electoral offices on the night of the first round of presidential elections, Sunday.
“After the election night we discovered that telephones and the entire call centre system, which we used to encourage voters to cast their ballot for Jaroslaw Kaczynski, were stolen,” said Pawel Poncyliusz, spokeman for the Law and Justice electoral body.
Neither members of Kaczynski’s electoral staff, nor police managed to find the lost property bought with tax payers’ money.
For Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s election campaigners the theft it is a double loss – financial and strategic – as they will no longer be able to woo voters by telephone. (mg/jb)
