Bronislaw Komorowski has sent a letter to Jaroslaw Kaczynski assuring that if he becomes president after the vote Sunday, he is willing to cooperate with the Law and Justice party leader. Kaczynski also announced that if he wins the election he will collaborate with Civic Platform’s PM Donald Tusk.
“I dream that starting from Monday we’ll try to adopt a common stance on the issues that are most important for Poland, such as creating new workplaces for the youth, reforming Polish health system and supporting young families,” wrote Civic Platform’s candidate for president.
Komorowski to Kaczynski, thanking him for a form but fair fight.
“I would like Poles to remember this campaign as a peaceful one based on respect and consent,” added the centre-right Komorowski.
Meanwhile, the socially more conservative Law and Justice candidate Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that if he wins the presidential election he is willing to cooperate with the PM Donald Tusk and will try to reach an all-party consensus.
Kaczynski told Polish Radio this morning that his priorities as president will be health system’s reform, infrastructure, energy security and agriculture. (mg)
