  • 02.07.2010

According to a survey published late on Friday by SMG / KRC pollsters, Bronislaw Komorowski can count on 51 percent support in Sunday‘s presidential election, while Jaroslaw Kaczynski is on 44 percent.

Two percent of respondents declared that they had yet to make up their minds, three percent refused to answer.

Turnout would be 54 percent, according to the poll. The survey was carried out on July 2 from a sample of 2,010.

The opinion poll - commissioned by TVN 24 news - comes after a survey by Homo Homini for Polish Radio, which showed Komorowski 12 percentage points in the lead; and another by GfK Polonia showing a tie between the candidates, or even a two percent lead for Kaczynski. (pg)
