• Poland’s president elect wins landslide…in the prisons!

The National Electoral Commission announced, Monday, that Bronislaw Komorowski won the votes of nine out of ten convicts in Poland’s prisons and detention centres in the presidential elections on July 4.

 

Komorowski won the support of 91.9 percent support from Poland’s felons, while Jaroslaw Kaczynski managed to attract just 8.1 percent. Komorowski received 50 284 votes to Kaczynski’s 4 460.

 

It was announced that turnout in prisons was 65.3 percent. (pg)
