For the second year in a row, Polish police have opened a hotline for foreigners vacationing in the country.
In case of emergency, tourists are asked to call 0-800-200-300 or 608-599-999. A switchboard operator or policeman will be answering calls in English or German.
The hotlines are free and are meant to aid foreigners in dealing with any sorts of emergency one might encounter while on vacation – from violent encounters, to robbery, to injury.
The hotlines will remain open until the end of September. (mmj)
