  • 23.07.2010

Officers from the Internal Security Agency have entered the law firm of Marek and Marcin Dubieniecki, husband of the late President Lech Kaczynski’s daughter.

“Officers raided Dubienicki’s office at the request of investigators from Wroclaw,” Malgorzata Klaus from the Prosecutor’s Office in the western city of Wroclaw confirmed.  Klaus did not want to reveal, however, why officers form the Internal Security Agency entered the law firm.

Several months ago, Polish media reported that Marcin Dubieniecki, husband of Marta Kaczynska, the late President Lech Kaczynski’s daughter, might have been involved in siphoning up to 12 million zloty (2.9 million euro) out of the SKOK credit union. Dubieniecki then denied the accusations. (mg/jb)
