Besides three days of great music, the 16th Woodstock festival in western Poland broke the world record at the weekend for the biggest band ever assembled playing recycled instruments.
For seven minutes, 615 band members played themselves into the record books on paint tins, buckets, old printers, scanners and other scrap.
The three day festival starred American band PAP Roach and British, Krakow-based violinist Nigel Kennedy. Organisers say the festival attracted more than 300,000 punters. (pg)
