Minister without portfolio and special advisor to the government Michal Boni has denied press speculation that he about to tender his resignation.
“I have no intention of resigning,” Boni tells the PAP news agency.
Weekend press reports suggested that the special advisor to Prime Minister Donald Tusk was “exhausted” and frustrated at the lack of substantial government reforms. The Wprost magazine claimed a source saying that directly after the presidential election - won by Tusk’s ally Bronislaw Komorowski - Boni said that if major reforms to not get underway now that a compliant politician is in the presidential palace then he will leave the government after two and a half years service.
But the minister said, Monday morning, the reports are nonsense. “As you can see, the [silly] season has began,” Boni said. (pg)
