• School kids to be given anti-corruption lessons
  • 20.08.2010

Anti-corruption classes will soon become part of the school curriculum alongside biology, maths and languages, as part of a wider ‘Poland without corruption’ educational project.

The Dziennik Polski daily reports that the project is the brainchild of the Kościuszko Institute, located in Krakow, and pilot lessons are to start this term in the Malopolska region in southern Poland as part of a new civic education drive.

The institute wants to broaden the project to include other provinces. The next step will be to draw up a curriculum in partnership with the Ministry of Education. (pg)
