Rescuers have discovered the body of a 76-year-old resident of Gorki, a village some 35 kilometres from Warsaw, after the man was reported missing earlier this month.

The man’s body was reported to have been found over the weekend in a ditch near the village. His bicycle was found nearby.

Police have since taken four people in for questioning, with three of the suspects hearing accusations of battery with fatal consequences from prosecutors.

If found guilty, the suspects may be imprisoned for up to ten years. Police from Czosnow and Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki are looking into the case. (jb)
