A new survey released by CBOS pollsters reveals that support for President Bronislaw Komorowski has fallen by 4 percentage points on last month, with a further 6 percent of respondents stating that they negatively view the work of Poland’s head of state.

The poll shows that 54 percent of Poles positively assess Bronislaw Komorowski, while 28 percent have a negative opinion of Poland’s president.

However, 18 percent of respondents did not have an opinion about the head of state.

The poll also asked respondents about the two parliamentary houses. 67 percent of respondents had a negative opinion of the Sejm lower house, with positive comments coming from only 19 percent of Poles.

Only 22 percent of respondents positively assessed the work of the Senate, while 52 percent gave negative comments about the upper parliamentary house.

The CBOS poll was undertaken between 7-13 April on a representative group numbering 1,192 adult Poles. (jb)
