The southern city of Krakow remains one of the most recognisable places associated with John Paul II.

 

It was in Krakow that Karol Wojtyla held one of his first parishes, and where he was archbishop for 14 years before being elected to become pope in 1978.

 

John Beauchamp met with Kinga Laciak, a student at Krakow's Pontifical University, who takes us to a few places linked to Pope John Paul II in the southern city.(jb)
