  • 01.02.2007
According to a new public opinion poll, Polish people's greatest concern in the year 2007 is their health and access to health care ?C 38% of respondents pointed to that. 17% of Poles worry about the stability of their job, but at the same time, as many as 40% expect a pay rise. Nearly 1/3 of Poles hopes to develop professionally. One in four respondents is afraid of the worsening of his financial status. The same number expects Poland's political situation to get better. Terrorism and war is an issue of concern for just 9%. Only 2% of Poles worry about possible family problems. Social psychologist, prof. Janusz Czaplinski, commented on the results saying that it is a good sign, that for Poles the greatest concern is their health. 'This is the right hierarchy of everyday worries. We are less concerned about losing our jobs. We take care mostly about our physical well-being. We are getting normal,' the professor has said.
