The distinctive black posters – part of opposition Civic Platform’s (PO) campaign criticizing the Law and Justice government, that have appeared in many Polish cities, should display the PO logo, says MP.
Law and Justice MP Tomasz Dudziński directed attention to the words of the head of the State Canvassing Board (PKW), who said that since 8 September - when the election campaign officially began in Poland, all canvassing materials should be signed by the party that sponsors then.
According to the politician, PO broke the law by putting up unsigned posters.
PO members, on the other hand, say that they are not obliged to sign posters, because they have not yet registered their electoral committee.
PO MP Sławomir Nowak doesn’t rule out the possibility of taking PiS to court for accusing PO of wrong-doing, to which PiS MPs retorted that they are not afraid of losing the case.
The political posters display messages such as ‘PiS rules, Poles are ashamed.’
