The Women’s Party - who are contesting their first election in Poland - have unveiled a campaign poster with party leaders naked, covered only by white sheets of paper. Party leader, writer Manuela Gretkowska, explained that the poster is to show that the party has ‘nothing to hide’. She also added that she is counting on enough support to enter the Sejm, the Polish parliament. “For us it’s a question of survival.
The Women’s Party presented their main goals – stress is put on the issues of family, healthcare and work.
A similar party was set up in Sweden in 2005 and contested the elections there in 2006, where they achieved just under 0.7 percent of the vote.
Elections take place in Poland on October 21.
