• Polish ‘Bill Gates’ to stand in election

Lukasz Foltyn, one of the founders of the very popular Polish internet communicator site Gadu-Gadu (“Chit-Chat”), will be in first place on the minor opposition party, the Polish Peasants Party (PSL) ballot in Warsaw.

Mr. Foltyn, a very successful Polish entrepreneur sometimes called the ‘Polish Bill Gates’, revolutionized the Polish internet communication market when he invented Gadu-Gadu, an internet communicator similar to ICQ, which is used by almost 8 million people.

The board of directors of Gadu-Gadu S.A. informed that Foltyn has resigned from the post of member of the board of directors of the company.
