I won’t cry because I’m leaving the the PM’s Office but I don’t know if I will ever return there,” Jarosław Kaczyński, stepping aside as the Prime Minister told the Polish Radio this morning.

The PM added that nevertheless he believes in Law and Justice (PiS) success although he himself will be “four years older in four years’ time”. He also said that he hopes to remain the head of the party.

“There is nothing in it. I have a moral duty: I will ask about trust in me. This is connected with hope that I will get it. There is no question about my resignation. We’ve lost the elections and the honesty requires this,” the PM denied information that he will resign from the post of the president of the Law and Justice party.

Jarosław Kaczyński told the Polish Radio that Poland will not benefit from the rule of the Civic Platform (PO) and lose many years of the development.

He added that PO’s policy will be very expensive for Poland and as an example gave the idea to change the location of the National Stadium to be built in Warsaw and a plan to erect a housing estate at the location of the current 10th Anniversary Stadium, where the national sports centre was to be created initially.
