Today the Self-defence party leader Andrzej Lepper is to hear charges with regard to the sex scandal within the party involving offering females promotion in return for sexual favours.

At least three women have testified against Lepper during the ‘sex-gate’ investigation.

“In the files there are testimonies concerning joint parties by Lepper and [the key accused] Stanisław Łyżwiński, during which they demanded sex from Self-defence female activists,” said a source who managed to find out details of the investigation.

The key person and main victim of the sex scandal is Aneta Krawczyk, who was first to allege that Self-defence members, including the party’s leader Andrzej Lepper, demanded sex as a condition of professional advancement. Similar testimony was given by Krawczyk’s colleague who now is said to live in London.

The third person to testify against Lepper was Agnieszka Kowal, former head of the party youth organisation, who in an interview for ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’ said that Lepper knew that Łyżwinski sexually harasses party activists.
