Three former vice-chairmen of Law and Justice (PiS) – Ludwik Dorn, Kazimierz Ujazdowski and Paweł Zalewski – are not to take part in the party’s congress in December, PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński informed.
Former PM Kaczyński said that Dorn, Ujazdowski and Zalewski were suspended from party members’ rights and that he cannot do anything about that.
“I will not take the suspension back because disciplinary proceedings are already on their way and as the chairman of the party I no longer have control over the case,” pointed out Kaczyński.
Former vice-chairmen are authors of a letter to the formation’s chairman concerning possible changes in the way Law and Justice is managed. All three of them resigned also from their posts as vice-chairmen.
Kaczyński decided to suspend the rebels from the party membership and tabled their case before the disciplinary court for arbitration by fellow party members.
