Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk informed Wednesday that there is no definite governmental stand on the issue of reimbursing in-vitro fertilization.
The idea of reimbursing the procedure from the state budget was introduced by Health Minister Ewa Kopacz, though another politician of the ruling Civic Platform (PO) Jarosław Gowin said that no such thing is even considered.
“I admit that for the time being I don’t expect broadening the reimbursements,” said Tusk.
PM Tusk appointed a special team under Jarosław Gowin that, next few days, would present a stand on the matter of medical procedures reimbursement. (jm)
