  • 22.02.2008

Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk has assured that his department will do everything to improve the quality of Polish roads.

During a press conference summing up the first 100 days of his rule in the ministry, the minister said that now that the problems have been precisely diagnosed, he will proceed to solving them.

The unblocking of the investment process concerning the construction of motorways is under way. "Polish people love good roads and we are trying to satisfy this affection," said Grabarczyk.

According to the minister, the offices responsible for the absorption of EU funds should be strengthened, both with more staff and as institutions. (mo)
