Law and Justice (PiS), the biggest opposition party in Poland wants to add a further name to the list of ministers who they think should quit from the cabinet – that of the PM himself.

The list was published by the Polish daily Dziennik, speculating about a possible cabinet reshuffle and the dismissal of five people by this August.

Przemyslaw Gosiewski, head of the Law and Justice (PiS) parliamentary club is of the opinion that the present cabinet's gravest problem remains the prime minister, Donald Tusk, himself. Gosiewski thinks that instead of managing the work of the cabinet, Tusk is ‘preparing his presidential campaign’.

Gosiewski cliamed that the main task of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister appears to be building the image of Donald Tusk and preparations for a future presidential campaign, hence a cabinet reshuffle would be of very little help.

"The main weakness of the cabinet is not only its ministers, but the way its work is managed,’ concluded the former deputy prime minister in Jaroslaw Kaczynski's government. (mn)
