National Defence Minister Bogdan Klich has denied rumours concerning his impending dismissal.

Rumours of a possible cabinet re-shuffle have included the possible dismissal of several misters, including Minister Klich.

"I do not comment on rumours, especially that stupid,” retorted Klich, when asked about his possible dismissal as defense minister.

Klich thinks that he is in full control of the military forces and manages them skillfully. He stressed that he keeps in touch with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and that the subject of dismissal had never surfaced in their conversations.

Polish press speculates that Klich may have been added to the list of ministers to be dismissed by Tusk in a cabinet reshuffle this August. Other names on the list are Katarzyna Hall, education minister, Barbara Kudrycka, minister of science and higher education, and Maciej Nowicki, environment minister. (mn)
