The State Treasury is going to sell shares in Wars S.A., the company which operates over 350 sleeping and restaurant carriages in Poland.

The State Treasury holds 49.98 percent of Wars S.A. shares and PKP Intercity 50.02 percent. On 8 March, the State Treasury is going to put on sale 42.48 percent of its shares. Investors can submit offers by 4 March.

The starting price is over 13.8 million zloty (3.5 million euro) and a deposit which entitles to participate in the auction amounts to 1.38 million zloty (350,000 euro).

Wars S.A. operates 364 sleeping, restaurant and bar carriages which belong to PKP Intercity and four carriages which belong to Deutsche Bahn. Menu at Wars consists of over twenty dishes, including traditional Polish meals and international cuisine. (mg)
