  • 19.02.2011
Polish customs officers from the port city of Gdansk have seized over 31,000 pairs of Chinese trainers with the Euro 2012 logo illegally printed on them.

“The trainers with illegal 2012 logo, were smuggled in a container with other shoes,” says Marcin Daczko from the Customs Office. The trainers, worth about one million zloty (260,000 euro), were imported by a company from Ukraine.

It has been the second attempt to smuggle Chinese trainers with Euro 2012 logo to Poland. In March 2010, Polish customs officers seized 10,500 pairs of illegal shoes. (mg)
