Poland’s Justyna Kowalczyk triumphed in Falun, Sweden, winning the last event in the women’s skiing championship series - the 10 km freestyle cross-country race.

Justyna Kowalczyk sped past leader Petra Majdic of Slovenia and, for the first time in the history of Polish sports, took the Crystal Globe.
