LOT Polish airlines have registered a 12 percent fall in the number of passengers as of January.

But what is bad news for the carrier, could be a welcome development for potential customers as the company wants to gain attention through attractive ticket prices and various promotion schemes, says spokesman Wojciech Kadziolka: ‘Prices on LOT’s European routes start at 380 zloty, which are record low. Trans-Atlantic flights to New York and Chicago or to Canada run from 1780 zloty.’

Valuable information as the current exchange rate of the zloty stands at 3.7  against the euro.
