The best coffee in Poland is made by a woman. 23-year-old Izabela Popiołek has won Sunday’s National Barista Championships organized in Warsaw.

The coffee champion will represent Poland at the World Barista Championships, organized by the Speciality Coffee Associations of Europe and America in the USA  in April.

14 baristas qualified for the Warsaw event, with 6 selected for the final. They were required to make 12 cups of coffee in 15 minutes, including espresso, cappuccino and non-alcoholic long drinks with coffee.

The new champion said she has been making coffee for a living for three years, and had spent three months preparing for the championship event.
