• Polish president to meet Obama?

Poland’s president Lech Kaczynski will participate in the EU-US summit to be held in Prague on April 5 – informed  Mariusz Handzlik from the presidential chancellery. Among the participants of the meeting will also be US president Barack Obama.

According to initial reports, the meeting will present an opportunity for the two leaders to have a brief introductory conversation. “President Obama has expressed his will to meet and have separate talks with all the European leaders” – said a source close to Poland’s Foreign Ministry. PM Donald Tusk will also take part in the Prague summit. The topics to be discussed there include the global financial crisis as well as security and climate issues.

Earlier president Lech Kaczyński will also participate in the celebratory NATO summit held in Strasbourg on April 3-4.
