Today is the last day for nationals of other EU countries living in Poland to request to be included on the election registers to the European parliament.
Such persons must be permanently resident in Poland and possess the right to vote.
Poland’s Electoral Commission informs that such requests must be accompanied by a photocopy of a valid identification document and a written declaration stating the requesting person’s citizenship, address in Poland and the name of the locality or district in his or her country of origin where he or she is authorised to vote. This must also be accompanied by a declaration that the person has the right to vote and will use it only once.
The elections to the European Parliament are scheduled in Poland on June 7th.
