• Egging on the management

Eggs and Easter wishes, accompanied by demands of pay raises are today coming to the management of the Fiat small car factory in Tychy.

Head of the factory’s Solidarność trade union Wanda Stróżyk said that while sales of the small cars were growing, the workers were concerned over their wages – and holiday bonus.

So far, representatives of the factory’s management have not responded to the union members’ demands.

In the crisis, the small cars manufactured in Tychy are in great demand in Germany – so much that the factory has introduced Sunday shifts to supply the market.
