Representatives of the city of Lodz, Poland’s second biggest urban agglomeration, have donated a huge EU flag to Brussels.
The Union banner measures 20 by 30 meters and weighs 120 kilograms. It was made by pupils of a school for impaired children with the help of students form the local Higher School of Humanities and Economics.
The giant EU flag is to be displayed in front of the Regional Committee headquarters in May, when Poland will be celebrating its 5th anniversary of EU accession.
