Sports minister Miroslaw Drzewiecki said he would recommend 6 Polish cities for the site of Euro 2012 games.
Minister Drzewiecki made the statement on TVP Info in connection with the current visit of UEFA president Michel Platini who came to Warsaw to assess stadium preparations to date. Michel Platini arrived in the Polish capital straight from Kiev, where he conducted a similar inspection concluding that both Poland and Ukraine could not lose rights to organizing the final tournament of the European championship matches.
Poland’s sports minister reiterated that preparations to Euro 2012 are going according to schedule and all UEFA expectations will be met.
