• Report on Kamień Pomorski fire released

The tragic fire in Kamień Pomorski could have started as a result of a spark  - shows the preliminary report of a special commission investigating cause of the blaze fire presented today. The commission composed of criminologists and led by general Janusz Skulich has worked on the spot since Tuesday.

Today marked the third day of the national mourning declared by president Lech Kaczyński following the blaze. Flags at official buildings have been put at half mast and many concerts, sports and mass events have been cancelled.

A total of 21 people died while 20 others were injured in the blaze which ravaged in a social services hostel early Monday. DI
