UEFA president Michel Platini said that he does not see any major problems with the organization of EURO 2012 championships in this country.
According to Platini, who wrapped up his two-day visit to Poland, the key issue as of now is the conclusion of agreements connected with the hotel infrastructure. “I would like to congratulate you the construction of the stadiums. Thanks to you football in Poland will develop. I would like to congratulate the Polish government and the Football Federation on these great investments. They will constitute the future of football in a country with great football traditions” he said.
While in Warsaw Platini visited the National Stadium, had a working dinner with representatives of the government and the Polish Football Federation (PZPN) and met with the Polish organizers of the event. (di)
