• Opposition to apologise for tv election spot
  • 24.04.2009

Opposition party Law and Justice will have to publicly apologise to the ruling Civic Platform for an election spot broadcast on television.

A court has ruled that the spot contained false information, among others suggesting corruption at the highest levels of authority.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk responded to the ruling, saying that one may err or make mistakes, but when someone cynically and consciously wants to build their success on a lie, they will always lose.

Law and Justice have said they will appeal the decision today.
