The event will feature a tourist presentation under the motto ‘The beauty of Poland’ and a conference devoted to business cooperation. A well known historian from Iceland Torleifur Fredriksson,will  open  an evening devoted to the roots and importance of ‘Solidarity’, while Robert Maklowicz traveller and culinary expert will host a special day of Polish cuisine. The Polish week will wind up on May 3rd, Poland’s Constitution day. The Polish community in Iceland amounts to over 11 thousand and is the largest among the ethnic minorities inhabiting the island.
