A special concert marking the fifth anniversary of Poland’s EU membership will be held at Warsaw’s Teatralny Square on Sunday.

The highlights of the event include a concert by renowned singer Jennifer Rush, accompanied by an orchestra and the Choir of the National Philharmonic, and a premiere of the cantata entitled The Mirror of Europe based on the libretto by composer and poet Roman Kołakowski, with music written by composer Filip Hadrian Tabęcki. The concert will be performed under the baton of three conductors, including the renowned artist Antoni Wit. Over 200 musicians will perform at the event.

Also, a screening of the film entitled Poland on Three Screens is planned for the evening – the production proved to be a hit at the Polish section of the 2008 EXPO in Zaragoza. Polish Radio is held under the honorary patronage of Polish Radio.
