• Polish protest over Iranian execution
  • 03.05.2009

Representatives of the Democratic Party and of the Polish branch of Amnesty International have lit candles and placed a rose in front of the Iranian Embassy in Warsaw.

This is in protest against an execution in Iran of a woman convicted of murdering her father’s cousin when she was seventeen. The photographs of  Delara Darabi, who was 23 when she was executed two days ago, were also placed in front of the embassy by Polish protesters.
