A two hour warning strike is to be staged at arms and aviation companies across Poland on May 28th.

The decision was taken by the All-Poland Protest Committee of Defense and Aviation Industry Workers. On May 18th pickets and rallies are to be held informing crews about negotiations with the government and the situation in respective plants.

In a referendum still in April, the arms and aviation industry workers voted in favor of a strike action in defense of their workplaces. They condemned Warsaw for not responding to their demands for government contracts. Otherwise, this sector of the Polish industry is doomed to liquidation, argue the trade unionists.
