Declan Ganley, leader of the international Libertas party, has appealed for actions to save Polish shipyards.

At a conference in Warsaw, together with Polish MEP candidates from his circle, Ganley pledged that after the EP elections Libertas would be striving to reverse the European Commission’s decision concerning Polish yards.

Libertas Polska candidate to the European Parliament, senator Krzysztof Zaremba said he is against applying different measures with regard to Polish and German shipyards. He explained the German government has gained consent to subsidize its yards within the framework of an anti-crisis package.
