The cabin has been set up as part of the informative campaign preceding European Parliament elections and allows for the presentation of opinions and expectations from the European Parliament. The idea of the project is to convince the Polish electorate that their votes and opinions are important and have a great value for the future shape of the European Parliament says Jacek Safuta, the director of the Information Bureau of the EP in Warsaw.
‘Everyone can come, record his or her opinion. Later all the recordings will be sent to Brussels so that the new deputies elected will be aware of the expectations of the electorate.’ He said
The viewpoints concern several categories including energy, finances or consumer protection.
Similar ‘Viewpoint’ cabins have been set in all EU capitals.
