Mining rescue services are still working to contain a fire which broke out in the night at the Sośnica-Makoszowy colliery in Zabrze.

36 miners have been evacuated. Four were injured.

Two miners have been hospitalized at the Burn Treatment Centre in Siemianowice but doctors say their lives are not in danger.
